I used it immediately after delivery. I couldn't believe how many hairs were hiding in my carpet! Ever since I moved into my apartment, I've been using a vacuum cleaner. The carpets were new then, seven months ago. If you look at the picture I've attached, you can see how much hair (mine and the cat's) the vacuum couldn't remove. The only issue I have with the brush is that as I brush, the wand slowly unscrews from the head and I have to re-twist it all the time, but that doesn't really matter given the results! I have already recommended this brush to my friends. Love it.
