Used this with a hand drill to thread in a 2020 aluminum profile and it worked like a charm. Tip: Work slowly with medium torque. Use drainage fluid. Change the direction of the drill every one or two revolutions to break up the chips (like a hand tap). I've found that sometimes it's necessary to step back completely to clean the flutes. Using this method, it was easily possible to cut a full thread with a depth of more than 10 mm.
