Review on Higher Performance KYB 343330 Excel-G Gas Shock for Enhanced Vehicle Experience by Jason Martinez

Again I bought this thinking it would fit without incident. I mean how difficult it is to design a shock absorber that fits in a car. The Revain Fit app says it will fit my car, but what I got was longer than the original shock and the base mount was wider. The wider base required me to purchase longer screws. A slightly longer piston made little difference. If it were shorter I would be very careful. After installing on the car, the test went well, the driving was satisfactory. I don't have any long term comments yet but I will come back to this review in a year. Pros: - Price - Performance Cons: - Not quite as advertised - Requires modification, additional hardware to be installed. Update after 13 months and 12,000 km. Not very happy with the reliability of this product. They expect the shock to last at least 40,000 miles before it starts bouncing around a bit. This unity, without warning or encouragement, failed completely and immediately. The collapse did not cause any injuries, it just appeared and began to clink at every bump. I will not reorder these.
