OK - this is a great product for a number of reasons: It adjusts VERY high giving you multiple angles you are looking for. It offers enough options to be used flexibly - from the table top to the high stand and then of course to the mobile ring light. All of this has to be charged to use it and I didn't have a cable. I just used the micro USB charger I had on hand, but unless you're a nutcase like me and don't keep every cord you ever come across, you just know you're going to need it. That being said - if I were in your place/buying again - I would specifically look for a ring light that doesn't require a connection to use. The wearable device is naturally charged. but there is no larger ring that goes to the stand - it must be connected. and if you have a short cable then you can be SOL. You can use a stand without wires, just not with a lot of light. I would choose a little more expensive if you have the range. Aside from these minor inconveniences, I would recommend it for the quality, ease of use and fast shipping. :)
