I have reviewed many alarm clocks and chose this one because it had the most (NOBODY makes an alarm clock that has everything for a decent price) features that I wanted. I've had it for over a month now and it keeps time well: you have to set the factory time when you first use it, but after that the on-board computer chip does its job well. The red numbers are too light even in dim mode, so I wrapped them in plastic wrap and used a black marker. The brightness is thus in the acceptable range. The radio reception at my location was good and the sound quality was acceptable for an alarm clock. It's easy to set up and test all the alarms, and I love that I can set the alarm for weekdays only, weekends only, or every day. I use Alarm 1 for weekdays and Alarm 2 for any unusual first days so my weekday alarm never changes. When I get up in the morning, I just press the left button at the top of the device. The alarm will then turn itself off and ring automatically the next morning (as set). The battery backup feature seems to work, although I haven't had a power outage since purchasing it. I would buy this product again and would recommend it to anyone who needs the features advertised. Be sure to check everything when you receive it. I had to send my first one back because the alarm went off after only 1-2 seconds.
