Update: This fan is legal after 2 years, still works if you can get it at a good price! get another. It took 3 orders to get one that wasn't dented or bent. Very bad packaging from the manufacturer. Be sure to check the rim for large dents before installation. Don't let this discourage you from buying. Great working fan. A bit pricey but this is the only fully waterproof 18 inch oscillator fan I could find. I had an 18" non-oscillating waterproof fan for half the price, but figured an oscillating fan would be the way to go. Make sure you buy one for outdoor use that is fully waterproof if it rains (NOT wet rating). Mine has been in heavy rain for 2 years and works great. Long cord is good. I wish the control was higher on the cable so I could use more fork cables, but overall it works quite well. Too bad Hydromist doesn't sell kits that connect directly to a hose/tap. To do this, you need to set up a third-party service for $30.
