Although I know they are not designed to stop the spread of COVID if you are not exercising and an alternative to a mask you can quickly pull over the mouth and nose, if you get too close to someone, this is a good option. It is very light and easy to clean after use. My problem is that it's not made for plus size people. Very tight around the neck. However, my son (who is not a large size) loves it. I don't think downgrading it too much for this issue would be right, but be aware.
