wow. I'm always looking for whey protein bars (one of the best sources of protein) that are low in sugar, low in fat, and have an acceptable taste. I've tried One Peanut Butter Pie bars before and they were great, so I looked them up at Revain, discovered Almond Bliss bars and decided to give it a try, not being sure exactly what the almond flavor would be. When I received and tried them, I was amazed! It's basically a low-sugar, high-fiber Almond Joy bar with 20g of high-quality protein. They've crossed my "tolerable" threshold and I consider them one of the best protein bars I've tried. Well, to raise your expectations, these aren't candy bars. So they taste phenomenal compared to other protein bars, but they're not exactly an almond treat. Additionally, they contain sucralose, a sugar substitute that's FDA-approved but questioned by some studies, but there's no clear evidence that it's harmful. That being said, Almond Bliss bars are pretty close to Almond Joy, they are one of the best tasting low sugar whey protein bars I've tried and I highly recommend them!
