Does NOT work as promised!

We bought this July 2018. From the start this product was difficult to use. The key pad didn’t always work. You had to press the number slowly and hard otherwise it wouldn’t unlock. We couldn’t get in with the keypad most of the time and had to resort to a key. We bought it for our children so they could get in without a key. It goes through batteries like crazy! We put in new batteries two weeks ago and it didn’t work today so we put in new batteries and it still didn’t work. This product belongs in the trash and that’s where we threw it.
