I have never written an Best Buy review. I wrote this because I feel SO STRONGLY about not purchasing from this company & showing the quality of the items in the cage. My boys worked hard & used their chore money to pay this cage. We waited with great anticipation the arrival. We received it in the time frame promised. On arrival the directions written were for a similar cage but not this exact model.no big deal.we dealt with it & it took 2 hours for 3 people to assemble. The pieces do not fit exactly together. From reading the review from another purchaser who's hampster was hung, we fit the pieces as well as possible & used bread ties to "pull" the pieces together to ensure a better fit. The concept of the cage itself is amazing-our 2 gerbils thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is poorly constructed & did not fit together well. Within 2 days as the pictures show our gerbils literally chewed through one of the ladders & started chewing the tunnels. Our gerbils are "chewers" but the plastic is extremely flimsy & poorly constructed. I asked the sellers if we could return but they refused since the product was not new. I asked for partial compensation to purchase other ladders & a house & the junk wheel & they refused. I would HIGHLY recommend not working with this seller or purchasing this product.
