The mesh is well made and works both horizontally and vertically. I just installed it so can't say how well it will hold up etc but it appears to be the same quality as the OEM mesh that came with my 2013 Odyssey. I use this network in 2016 MDX SH AWD. Installation is easy. You run your finger over the holes/dimples in the carpet that mark where the factory equipment for these aftermarket items is installed. The instructions say the MDX has 2 holes and use the bottom one. I had 3 holes but the middle one was a bit smaller so maybe it was just my imagination. I used the bottom holes on each side and they lined up with no problem. first the nozzle, then the 14 mm nozzle. and only 10 mm deep. That's a lot more detailed than necessary. Simply poke a thin sheet of plastic behind the carpet with a 3/16" bit, no measurements required. You'll feel it, you won't get tangled up in it and you won't dig too deep. Once the hole is drilled, simply insert the anchor pieces into the hole and feel until you feel it thread. Screw it in by hand. Everything is ready. Installation took about 2 minutes on both sides.
