unisex sizing - check chart before ordering. I am a woman with shoe size 7 1/2, I ordered 7 and find them a bit roomy. I had a few by the end of high school and college and killed them for years until the strip on top peeled off. They were thrown around, carried with and without socks, thrown into bags, closets, stuffed into heels to save space (which I think affected the group), showered, used in the pool and abused. They felt great on their feet after many hours of volleyball or softball tournaments. The sole is firm and smooth, with arch support - I have a high arch. I want some slides that can withstand the most horrendous blows, these are the ones for you. They are great quality and I love that Addidas doesn't put their logo on them, love the simple line style. I have some issues with foot pain so personally I couldn't wear them all day standing or walking but I'm sure they will be a great support to others due to the firm solid sole underneath. who doesn't share my sensitivity.
