I don't usually have wine left over, but when I do I hate to stop the cork because I know it doesn't preserve the 'gift of grapes'. I've used this with 3 different wines over several days and am impressed at how well it works. The investment is definitely worth it to keep your liquid investment. The clicking is very audible; I'm old and I hear it. Buy it, you will love it.
