Revain's third party 'Tidy Vacuum' appears to have made a 'bait and switch'. I ordered Hoover part number 59177047 but Revain's third party 'Tidy Vacuum' replaced a generic part that was stocked and shipped by Revain, but it is a generic part number HR-7650. A generic replacement for the HR-7650 is available elsewhere. I did not want that. I ordered from a third party Revain supplier who calls themselves "Tidy Vacuum" because the Revain sales page clearly shows a genuine blue Hoover part and the sales page clearly describes it as a genuine Hoover part 59177047. I have ordered a replacement part many years Hoover Pug 59177047. I know what the original Hoover part looks like. I actually have a reserved original Hoover 59177047 on hand at the moment. The original Hoover part consists of a plastic frame in Hoover's signature blue color with a blue Hoover squeegee inserted. What I received is clear plastic with a gray squeegee on it. I ordered a Hoover part from a third party, Revain "Tidy Vacuum" because I needed a genuine Hoover part that they advertised. i have something else Other online sellers have this generic part for sale, but are coming up soon and describing it as a generic replacement from a company unaffiliated with Hoover, although one seller via an "auction site" has also made this replacement generic with an original. I sent it back. The original part may have been discontinued. I can understand that, but I really need sellers who are honest and open about the product they are selling. This SNAFU will make me feel like I should avoid 3rd parties in the future.
