We've looked at many recommended thermometers and recently decided to try this one. Good decision on our part. It is everything we expected and we are very happy with the purchase. The probe itself feels solid and weighs more than many flimsy thermometers on the market. You don't have to worry about accidentally hitting a bone and bending it. Readings are consistent and accurate, so you can rest assured that your food will not be spoiled by incorrect readings. Thanks to wireless connectivity, you won't lose heat when you open your oven, grill or smoker to check the temperature. An obvious advantage over some other popular thermometers is that there is no visible temperature displayed on the probe. You are tied to your phone as the only indicator. Not bad, just one thing.
