This scanner is very easy to use. When I plugged it in, it started right away. My car I hooked it up to doesn't have warning lights so it didn't give out any codes. I've moved on to the other features and have been impressed with everything it can do to help diagnose engine problems. It shows you the volts on the oxygen sensors. How does the engine behave during operation. battery volts. And so many other useful things. It doesn't show you a press or an airbag. But for the money it's worth, it's a great little tool. The screen is large but slightly scratched. The tool can only be read when connected to the car. If you need to take it with you for research purposes, the tool will be deactivated and the data will disappear. But as long as you have it connected, you can see what the code means right in the tool. For the money I'm happy with what it does and how it's made.
