Review on ๐Ÿ”ง BAL 23222 Set of 2 "C" Jacks with Handle - 22": Sturdy and Reliable Lift for Easy Maintenance by Chris Elam

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cool, simply cool boys!

BAL "Cโ€ Sockets I don't usually write long reviews but BAL C sockets deserve it. My 25ft 5500# RV came with medium sized "scissor" jacks. They did little to stabilize lateral movement. Lateral movements were completely prevented with high-quality BAL scissor jacks between the twin wheels. Scissor jacks mounted on a standard frame (front and rear) were mounted on a side frame about 14 inches from the sides of the trailer. Bumper mounted BAL C-bushings were installed to the rear bumper using 4" wide square head U-bolts. Do not weld or drill any structures. This attachment also allows the BAL jack leg to extend to the extreme side of the trailer , which adds significant lateral brace (minimal lateral movement. Installation of both rear bushings took approximately 20 minutes. The large footprint of the BAL jacks minimizes additional jamming under the jack foot. The attached photos should give you an immediate idea of the ease of installation and mainly convey of the quality and size difference of the BAL bushings. The lead screw is about twice the diameter.Scissors jack and is fully enclosed in a horizontal jack body.Compared to the photos, the tiny screw jack is open and open to anyone near the Lead screws dangerous I hope the pics help you locate bushings e.g u understand. When I buy something online, I pay attention to star ratings. I usually start with "ones" and "twos". Spelling and nonsensical nonsense make you wonder why they even need TT. BAL sockets make assembly easier. They are not flimsy when installed "properly". They are twice the weight and size of a scissor jack. They are made in the USA! Get in, folks!
