This tamper has a great design for those who enjoy hand blending. We have another design that has some sort of grid, which is a problem because it picks up whatever you're trying to stretch. Not suitable for puree. It has a very ergonomic design that makes it easy to hold in your hand (important when hand pureeing!). It's well made, like every other OXO I've ever bought. Highly recommended.
