My kids love this item. It's a sight to see them driving down the sidewalk in our park with music, lights and laser blasters. We've spent hours having fun with this and it's a must have for kids with hoverboards. Totally worth the money just for the entertainment/fun factor. If you went to a kart track you would spend those two laps on the track so while these are wrecks quality issues aren't a deal breaker and I would still buy them again and probably buy another one if this one gets too beat up . The seat is comfortable and the metal parts/hardware are solid and work well. Wheels and Velcro suck, so it's interesting that some parts are of very high quality and good design, while others are of very low quality and poor design. Velcro is not a good design. The material isn't strong enough, and the way they're sewn makes them stick to the ground easily. The stitching holding the velcro to the straps has come undone on 2 of the 4 straps that came with it. I had to sew them back on. While driving, the belts drag/slip on the ground, the belts can't handle it and break/tear. The pads on the feet that sit on the hoverboard are not flat, hence the abrasions on hoverboards. The jet engine mount on the back is attached to the seat with a thin metal arm and sticks out so it smacks the floor when kids ride fast and on the rear wheel. There should be either a mechanism to completely prevent wheelie riding (no fun), or an improved design so the jetpack doesn't stick out as much and works like a lever that pushes down on the ground when the wheeled unit is lifted . It's not broken yet, but it's only a matter of time. Wheels don't hold up well, parts fly out when hitting rocks and debris. My kids are very small and young, the heaviest is 45lbs and my wife and I have never ridden one so I'm surprised this is an issue and would like to caution others with larger/older children.
