This is a magical cream for irritated dry skin. Every winter the dry patches on my cheeks get worse and I look for the best solution. Sometimes it's an old favorite, sometimes it's the latest and greatest. This year it's this moisturizer from Mizon. I love Mizon skincare products and have several that I use already (their snail stuff is amazing). This year my skin seems to be extra easily irritated, so I am glad I came across this. Centella Asiatica is really good at calming skin, and the hyaluronic acid in this does a backup job of moisturizing the dry patches. Even though this is a thick cream, it goes on like a serum - absorbing quickly, no filmy or greasy feeling, doesn't feel heavy. Just warm a dab between your hands before applying, then gently massage in. I've bought hundreds of facial serums, lotions, creams, and balms over the years (seriously - my husband jokes I have my own ulta), and this is one of the few I can see using over and over again. Mizon is one of those lines that doesn't seem to ever come out with a bad product. Another bonus is their products aren't outrageously priced. They are more expensive than a lot of brands you may see in the supermarket or other big box stores, but I've always gotten my money's worth in terms of results and how skin-friendly their products are. Nary an irritating product in the bunch.I use this on my hands as well. A bit of this along with some of the La Roche Posay Lipikar AP body cream, and my hands feel transformed. I wish this cicaluronic cream came in larger containers. I would happily buy it in an 8oz pump bottle to use as a body lotion. Or even in a 3oz jar to mix with my heavy duty winter body creams for extra moisture and comfort. I've added mixed hyaluronic acid products (usually serums) into the thicker creams I use in cold weather for the extra moisturizing boost, but I think it's the Centella Asiatica that makes the big difference. It does such a wonderful job a changing angry dry and chapped skin back to soft and calm non-irritated skin. Until then, this is going on my repeat buy list since they don't offer it under Subscribe & Save.
