Update March 2020: My original knife broke trying to use it for hard cheese so I bought another one. I don't know what the difference is, but it doesn't cut nice thin slices anymore. The cheese sticks to it and I have chunks of cheese left over. I am very disappointed and will be back. I really liked it when I first used it; it works well with pepperjack, brie, mozzarella. However, over time, 2 issues bother me: 1) It's short, so if I try to use it on a large piece of cheese, it won't go through the whole block, and it's difficult to get a clean cut from the top to the bottom below. 2) I don't think it's socially acceptable. This means that when I arrange a cheese platter, I don't think it's "pretty" enough for the guests. Currently looking for another one to solve these 2 problems
