Seriously they are way better than the standard smh10r speakers, they are way louder, clearer and cleaner. Be careful with the wires, I gave myself about 4 inches on each side of the wire in case I make a mistake and try again. Make sure you don't lose the threads and I soldered them together. Took 10 minutes. I bought an open box especially for this. laugh out loud. if it goes wrong, whatever. The smh10r doesn't have a fiwamre update for the speakers, i think it's "garbage", it's just the best speakers out there. louder/clearer. Would recommend if anyone wants to do this. For an open box model I have no regrets.
