Really Stiff Shocks
They're really stiff for a '98 2-door Tacoma. Shrinking her was a real pain. I couldn't even do it with a bottle jack, I had to use my full body weight and then connect the zip ties around the perimeter. Total PITA. These are good shocks, but probably better suited to a heavier truck than a small 2-door Tacoma. I think they will work better and make for a smoother ride. Only $1 more: KYB 343209 Excel-G Gas Shock
