I wanted to learn how to work with baked goods and thought this product would be great for a beginner like me. It can have a variety of colors, multiple tools to create your art, and additional essential embellishments/accessories to attach your art. Among other things, I've found that clay softens quickly due to heat transfer from your hands to the clay, making a mold difficult to form and hold. IDK I'm still learning to work with it. Overall, I recommend buying it if you're a beginner and want to get a feel for it, and I'm sure it's great for kids too!
