Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Cloudswift Rock Slate Men's Shoes: The Ultimate Running Footwear for Athletic Men by Jon Joung

I wanted to love her but.

Shoes are beautiful. That's a good thing, because they quickly disappear from my sneaker collection and unfortunately find their way into my leisure shoe collection. They are very comfortable and have good padding, but there are a few issues. The first thing I noticed was the typical ON groove on the sole of the shoe, which only goes halfway through. I assume fewer rocks will be caught. The shoe has no tongue - it adapts to the size of the sock. The laces are very flimsy and slippery and very difficult to tighten and loosen to try and lock the fit back in place. This will be a process you will have to go through as the extra cleats available on most shoes for better heel hold are absent on this shoe making it impossible to achieve a snug heel fit. . The change to this shoe is the side panels, which are made of plastic and wrap around your foot. I was concerned that they might dig into the top and side of my foot, but that didn't happen. The forefoot footprint is very wide, but the forefoot shoe box is not. The material of the upper is soft and elastic, so the shoe does not press on the forefoot. I have bursitis so it always worries me. When walking in these shoes, I kept banging my big toe on the inside of my shoes as the sole is much wider than the upper - sort of like Hokas, another shoe that doesn't fit me. This shoe has more cushioning than the On Cloud (her first shoe and still the best shoe in her playpen) and less street feel - although I like the street feel. The shoe is also heavier than the On Cloud and heavier than my favorite Newton Distance 4 cleats. I wear women's shoes 8.5 and usually running shoes 9.5 and these 9.5 fit well. If you like Hoka shoes, you might like these too, but they don't have the same cushioning as the Hoka. If you like On Cloud, don't switch.
