My 4 year old grandson was very happy to have the 'flip flops' like his dad, only cooler because they had dinosaurs on them. Unfortunately, his little feet hurt after about 2 hours of wearing. His mother thinks the heel strap might be too tight and is squeezing his feet too hard into the gap between thumb and second toe, causing uncomfortable pressure. He had no blisters, just pain in his legs. Maybe his little feet are too young to hang on a boot without a heel strap. He was very disappointed and kept trying to wear them and paid for it with a bad night's sleep with pain in his feet and legs. We can try making the elastic a little bigger so it just keeps the shoes in place and doesn't put any pressure on the feet. Mom took her.
