Sandals for Boys: Reef Ahi Toddler Little Sailboats Review

These are durable slippers. My son is prone to tripping and doesn't like loose flimsy flip flops that are bought for $1. I was surprised when they arrived because there was a strap on the back. After trying them on and making sure he would wear them, I simply cut off the back straps for my son.

I bought these for my 4 year old and he loves them. They're easy to put on and don't complain about sore feet like some of the cheaper models with vinyl/plastic parts. They seem to be durable. I am happy.

These shoes are great but a bit small. I sent them back and ordered a size larger. To be honest, you could order "Toddler" and "Little Kids", Blue and Black "Surf" two sizes up. Not sure about other styles as we only bought the ones in the photo. As long as they seem fine.

They sent me the wrong sandals, I received a pair that was very very small, I think I ordered the wrong size but the sandals were the wrong style :( overall they seemed to be of good quality so I just gave them to a friend.

We are the Reef sandal family - the only sandals we have in our house! Very pleasant even when wet! This is important when choosing the right sandals/flip flops for your child.

It is difficult to buy children's shoes on the Internet. It's like you need the outline of the shoe to put it on your child's foot to make sure it fits. Children's shoe sizes are confusing and misleading. I bought 3 pairs. Eventually they will all fit, but not as quickly as I had hoped.

Good sandals, my son wears them all the time because they are very comfortable for his little feet. They also hold up well to the wear and tear of his game.

These are by far the best sandals for toddlers. My son's feet are quite thick for a 3 year old and they fit great. A strap around his back holds them to his feet without digging into the flesh of his foot. Liked the shark pattern.

The flip flops are generally good but I received the wrong model number. ordered the ones that are all black with some fish, got a kite with 5 super neon lights in dark colors instead, not what i ordered!

Update: After about a dozen socks, the back strap of one of these sandals fell apart completely. Looks like the stitching connecting the elastic to the padding on the back just ripped. Very disappointed as was my son who loves these flip flops. Also, looking at the torn back strap, I realize that these flip flops smell awful. I can't believe the poor quality of the stitching and the smell after so many socks. First flip flops for my almost 3 year old son. Loves her. I want to wear them all the…

They were good sandals. They came with a back strap and all. It was too big so I sent it back and ordered a smaller size. The new ones fit great.

We are a family that wears Reef sandals so I was so excited to find these for my daughter. She will become like mom and dad. They fit well and the strap keeps them on the leg. She was also very comfortable. She wore other slippers with rubber straps on top and she hated them. The fabric straps in these sandals did not bother her at all, even on long walks. We will buy more reefs for her as she outgrows them.

My two year old has very wide feet. Until now I've paid a lot of money for Stride Rite shoes because they didn't fit his size in normal shoes available from most brands. A family member recommended them to me and they fit his chubby little feet really well! He's a kid who never stops running and he's been falling so many times that I can't tell you how easy/difficult it is for him to walk, but I can tell he continues to walk very well at it. They're nice and light and the elastic is snug enough

My 4 year old grandson was very happy to have the 'flip flops' like his dad, only cooler because they had dinosaurs on them. Unfortunately, his little feet hurt after about 2 hours of wearing. His mother thinks the heel strap might be too tight and is squeezing his feet too hard into the gap between thumb and second toe, causing uncomfortable pressure. He had no blisters, just pain in his legs. Maybe his little feet are too young to hang on a boot without a heel strap. He was very disappointed…

After my son tried on flip flops at 15 months and refused to wear them, I gave them a try because now at 28 months he wears mine around the house. He loves flip flops. I like the quality. They are bigger than expected. Now he's a 7.5 and they are narrow so I went with 7/8 thinking they would fit perfectly as his 7.5 shoes are narrow. They have extra room in the back so are a bit larger than expected, but I'm glad I didn't downsize them. The strap that goes around the top of his foot is tight…
