Review on Schwalbe Delta Cruiser Plus Bicycle by Adam Quintana

I have been buying Schwalbe tires for about 10 years and use Delta Cruiser Creme tires on all my vintage Raleigh and Triumph restorations. I have bought at least 100 sets of Schwalbe tires and have never had a problem with a set. In this set, beading and suture threads are thin and weak. When I installed it on a 26" Sturmey/Archer wheel and pumped it up to about 15psi there was no problem, I bumped it to 30psi and still fine. I bled it to 50psi which is still below the recommended 60-85psi and it pretty much blew out the edge of the rim. Rim in good condition, new rim tape and tube. This special tire is made in Vietnam. So, as I said, just a coincidence or maybe a bad batch.
