Review on πŸš€ Mega Construx Army Tank GNY56 by Gervan Mauldin

Excellent military designer!

Mattel Mega Construx "Army Tank" (339 pieces). LEGO tends to avoid military toys unless it's fantasy (they're definitely not shy about guns in Star Wars sets!), so you'll have to look elsewhere if you need military-themed building blocks . This armored car is a medium difficulty but fun build (7 bags of rocks plus lots of smaller ones inside). I like that all the brown blocks have a color remover that smudges them and creates a camouflage effect. Be careful with the cannon, the little pin holding it will likely come loose fairly easily if you hit the long barrel too hard (although there's another if you do). The tank's turret rotates and its hatch opens/closes (the top of the turret detaches to allow better access to the interior), the gun rotates up/down and all 14 wheels roll together with the silicon tracks. There's a friction grenade launcher mounted next to the cannon, and those red rockets really pack a punch! This set contains three soldiers, each wearing body armor, a helmet and a rifle. There is also an optional mine detector assembly. I love that Mattel gave the triple a unique look instead of going the easy route with identical triples. I really liked this kit and was pleased with both the assembly and the finished realistic looking model - it's a great tank! MSRP $30, I paid $25. I give him 4.8/5.0 heavy machine guns.
