I installed them as soon as I got them, here's what I'm thinking at the moment: Pros: • Nice touch, looks good, shines not to develop creases from repeated blows in the rubber. • Love the size • When the doorknobs bumped into it, it absorbed the shock very well. Keep in mind that my doors are by no means heavy or massive. These are your standard wardrobe and bedroom doors. I would buy a wider one (5 inches) for wall butt distribution for heavier doors (except over a pillar then I wouldn't worry about damage). Disadvantages: • The object is small in diameter, so a very hard blow can punch a hole in 1/2 inch drywall. Mine buckled on impact, but as I said, my doors are light and my wall studs are mounted on 16" centers. With these lightweight doors, I don't worry too much about that. I would be concerned if it was my front door or a solid door. • Carefully peel off the tape from the substrate, it may come loose like mine. I was able to just flip it the other side and pull it off with relative ease.
