Installing the 95 GMC Yukon is difficult.

Love the adjustable dampers. I can increase the ride height of my Yukon by an inch or two by towing a trailer. One thing I would like to say is that during the install on my 95 GMC Yukon they had a lot of clearance issues. The driver's side shock mounting pocket is incredibly close to the frame, leaving no room for tools to reach the bolt head. I welded a nut onto the shock mount and installed a bolt with a lock washer on top of the mount. See photo. There were no such problems on the passenger side. I'm sure normal shocks will work just fine, but the extra diameter of these shocks made things a lot more difficult. If I didn't have access to a welder and supplies in my garage, I wouldn't be able to install a driver's side side shock. In the attached pictures the distance between the shock body and the frame is about 1/4 inch. There's not even a way to get a head bolt bushing with a shock installed, not even a swing or eccentric and recessed shock mount. The location also made it impossible to get the wrench to the head of the bolt. My only option was to mount the bolt on top with a nut welded to the shock body. their performance has shocked so far.
