Sabrent needs to ditch that design and supplier and then go back to the drawing board

First, I'm a fan and longtime customer of Sabrent products. I had high hopes for this closet and was thrilled to have it on my doorstep. When I saw the box on my shed, it looked like my roommate decided to run his truck over it. It was quite dented and torn but it's a steel cabinet so no disappointments so far. When I opened it up I found that it was fully assembled and twisted so much that it doesn't close and the rack doesn't slide at all. The front pane of glass was not shattered, but torn from its original mounting. So I started troubleshooting for full disassembly and reassembly. I had to bend the rails and reposition and tighten the nuts and bolts of the door hinges because the door installed carelessly and rattled like crazy. back and tried to close the closet. Unfortunately, the engineer behind this design doesn't understand the network equipment due to the small gap between the front of the rack and the back of the door glass. Probably less than half an inch clearance for a unit designed to install switches that ALL have ethernet or fiber optic jacks on the front. Even the cheapest and flimsiest Ethernet connector ends and cable jackets will not fit in a closed door and more than a few ports. I fixed this by removing the front door entirely and using it as a closed closet with the front open. It works well for this purpose, but it took a lot of effort and adjustments on my part to get to this state.
