Review on 46-Inch Maple Dancing Longboard By Volador by Hikeboy Ramey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy learning board that holds up and looks good

Rode boards for a few years when I was a kid then stopped until picking up snowboarding a decade later. Looking for something that lets me stay active and move around town with less of the physical stress and dedication running puts on my body and time.Longboards seemed to fit for me and I was surprised how easily adapted the skillset is from snowboarding. After a couple hours I am able to skate faster than all but the fastest runners on flat or moderate slopes while feeling relatively secure, in control, and safe on the board.Volador board looks good and has so far held up after about 20 hours of use even running over large sidewalk cracks and rough asphalt on my daily commute. I can see I will need new wheels at least twice per season but that is relatively cheap and the rest of the board is holding up well. I might even venture into getting a smaller board and going to the skate park if things keep going this smoothly.

Pros
  • The board's durability makes it a practical option for riders who plan to use their longboard regularly
Cons
  • The wheels may not provide enough grip
