Review on Oakton EcoTestr pH 2+ Pocket pH Meter - 1 pack - AO-35423-01 by Chris Wheeler

Worked great for the first 3 months. I mean really great! Fast, just what you call it. Always keep it in storage solution. Was only used to test the feed water for our tomatoes and peppers. After 3 months the automatic calibration stopped working. Was down 2 points (when it says 6.0 it was actually 6.2) was gradually moved on now it's down 0.5 and the bottom lid or "cup" you prefer is white and cracked. Autocalibration still says "Done". "It looks like it's working, but unfortunately it's not. For the price I would advise against it! Maybe I was so disappointed because he looks so well built. It's really durable, seems to have good seals etc. I have to do daily water tests on industrial boilers at my place of work. PH is an important indicator and when our meter fell off at work and broke I persuaded our client to buy 2 of these devices. They each lasted about a month before they would automatically calibrate themselves. So now I look like an idiot for recommending them. Maybe the newer model is better, but this one isn't worth the plastic it's made of.
