First of all, I'm an audio engineer and I know that these cables are available from several OEMs. As a result, a retailer may experience intermittent quality issues in the supply chain. I bought this cable to connect an extra soundbar to my TV. The plugs on either end were poorly shaped and didn't "catch" into their respective sockets. The cable itself was very flimsy, reminding me of those cheap cables that come with inexpensive audio gear as a minimal out-of-the-box connection. The sound from the soundbar has occasional glitches, although I haven't determined it's the cable or the soundbar yet.
