I recently purchased this optical cable for my new streaming build and needed a longer soundbar cable. Since the original cable that came with the soundbar was too short, I decided to buy this cable instead (15ft long) and it's only $5.99. The extra cable length helps because I can now slightly shift the tone for more flexibility. I hope this helps everyone when choosing this cable

Okay I read the other reviews before purchasing this product and thought some snide comments were just fake comments from competitors. I was wrong. The connectors on this optical cable are too small, so they won't connect properly or stay connected. Just to be sure, I tried it on electronic devices from 3 different manufacturers and found it to be small for all. Which leaves me with only one conclusion, poorly made with no quality control. Stay away from this product.

I was about to give a bad review because it won't snap into my receiver. As I scrolled down, I noticed an image that said the protective cover should be removed. OOOPS. Luckily it came out right away and didn't get stuck in the phone! lol There should be a better warning on the box or an orange sticker saying it needs to be removed. Very bad product. The end of the cable won't connect properly to anything I've tried, including the soundbar I bought it for. The tabs/clips will not snap and pop out with the slightest tug. This is a multi-component case as I initially assumed it was for my soundbar connector.
