i hate stairs and i hate gutters. So stick the two together and I haven't cleaned the gutter in years. Bought this based on the reviews and wasn't disappointed, but a few tips I can offer may help move forward. I have a large 12 gallon 5.5 horsepower vacuum. I say that because my best technique is to blow out loose dirt and then vacuum quickly. The result is the fastest and cleanest of my gutters2. Comes with 2 20" extensions. I think this would probably be enough for a one story house. My original Shopvac came with 2 x 20" extensions for a total of 4 x 20" extensions. My house is a 1.5 Stories up which means half of my basement is above ground so my gutters are higher.With all 4 extensions, reach was easy and I didn't have to use anything to get taller and I'm 5ft 5".3.
