Review on Renewed Lenovo Legion 5 Gaming Laptop: 15.6" 144Hz, AMD Ryzen 7-4800H, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, RTX 2060 6GB, Phantom Black by En Core ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Converting RAW on an old laptop was torture. The U-stone from the blue ones took 25-30 seconds to convert one frame to JPEG, and from a simple walk you can easily bring a hundred. In desktops, AMD stones have long set the heat for Intel products in professional applications, and gaming performance may be less, but still enough. But the 2022 market is littered with offers on Intel stones, but with AMD, the choice is much less. Taking into account the fact that a good screen is desirable for working with photos (if there are no plans to work behind an external monitor), then the choice comes down to Legion 5 alone, which comes to our market exclusively with 100% sRGB matrices and at least 300 nits. HP, Asus, Acer, MSI cannot offer high-quality screens, or you need to look for the top-end configurations for a lot of money. Immediately after the purchase, before the first power-up, a second memory chip was installed (it was installed, not soldered, one module for 8 GB). 512GB SSD is enough for now. all information is stored on NAS, and for a couple of toys this is enough. The latest version of Windows did not encounter any problems. For two weeks of work, the laptop leaves only pleasant impressions.

Pros
  • - Good screen with 100% sRGB coverage; - Powerful stuffing for relatively little money; - Large battery; - Comfortable keyboard with NUM-pad and normal arrows; - Expandability in RAM and SSD; - High-quality plastic, excellent assembly, calm design; - Silence of work; - Many ports for the periphery;
Cons
  • - Weight could be less; - Marky plastic; - Mediocre sound from the speakers;
