Runs in shallow water and moves water well for its size. Does what it should. Tip: If you accidentally drag the pump above the water level, it will stop pumping. You must turn off the water and re-immerse yourself for the pump to start circulating again. Excellent for this money. Another thing, when I got my pump in the mail, the hose that came with it was stuffed into the tiny box along with the pump. Being a soft hose, it was kinked in all the places where it needed to be bent. To get rid of kinks, fill the sink with hot water and submerge the hose in the water to relax it. I even poured some hot water into the tube, held my finger on one end and blew on the other to help the kinked areas expand with the hot water. Anyway, worked for me and is just a tip👍🏻
