Review on Mr Gasket 1134G Head by Kevin Witherspoon

This is a beautiful gasket but unfortunately it does not compress to .028". After tightening the heads, I measured the distance between the corners of the heads and the block with a feeler gauge and the distance came out to be approximately 0.037 inches. I then removed the head and gasket and checked the thickness with a micrometer. The lining is really thick. I bought it for the same reason I think a lot of people do - I was looking for a mid-range shim and I ended up only finding it between .015" steel shims and the thicker ones (.039-.041". ) composite washers lay. Damn.
