I have been repairing plotters for over 30 years so I can tell you this is not an OEM product. The OEM belt has teeth on the left side of the belt and guide lugs on the right side. The idea is that this makes for a smoother running bottom bracket assembly. This belt is nothing more than a loop of teeth. That is why this belt comes with a new pulley. You need to replace the pulley that is designed to take the burrs with this new pulley that is smooth. Don't worry - it works perfectly. A tip: make sure you clean the engine pulley teeth well before fitting this belt. A pointed tool works best.
