I have a moisture problem in my house, probably because of the old windows (just replaced) and I live near the lake. My clothes took on a wonderful musty smell that vinegar, baking soda, or bleach didn't remove. I used about 1/2 cup (measuring cup) of Zero Odor with detergent in cold water and let the clothes soak overnight. My clothes smell a lot better. I also soaked my shoes in it. My leather shoes were moldy so I figured why not try soaking them in Zero and see what happens. My shoes smell better, so hooray! Such products are better suited to cotton garments than polyester/viscose or whatever. I used that with man-made fibers, but I also sprayed vinegar on the clothes, then let them dry and then washed them. The smell seems to be fading.
