This item will definitely not solve the problem of dirty toilets over time. bowl every now and then. But before I had to do it once a week or every 2 weeks to prevent build ups. but now I can do it once a month and see no savings. I would recommend people to keep the toilet bowl clean. and even if you don't clean the toilet, at least it helps keep it cleaner than if at least there was nothing in it. It usually ends in just 1 month and I'm the only one going to the bathroom. For 2 or more people I would imagine it would take even less.
