Update - get a free replacement quickly. The new version currently seen online has a slightly better design and appears to be more durable. I changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars due to the quick exchange and more durable adapter. If it lasts longer than a year I would rate it 5 stars. First review after 11 months: It worked, but it was excellent; Unfortunately it didn't last a whole year. I've used it on 2 month trips around Europe and England, sometimes on weekends and at home in the US. I was very happy with the adapter. After about 10 months, the US plug would no longer stay retracted, making it difficult to plug in, shortly after which it stopped charging completely. As long as it worked, it was excellent; Unfortunately it didn't last a whole year.
