Review on FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter with Arm & Hammer Baking Soda, CF10134 for Honda Vehicles, Optimized Packaging Variants, White by Wilbert Luoma

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy install on my Acura MDX

I didn't realize how bad the old filter was until I installed this new one. Replacing the filter was a simple task (pun intended). My 2011 Acura MDX (like many cars) puts them in the glove box (actually behind it) and all I had to do was pour it all out, squeeze the semi-rigid sides a bit and let it fall all the way down to reveal various hidden things , including the location of the cabin air filter. Note that these filters are directional, so pay attention to the dirty side of the old one and make sure the new one is facing away from the dirty side. My car had arrows on the frame, which also helped (at least air usually goes between the windshield and the hood and goes down from there). There was room in my frame to move the outer parts of the filter to prevent air from bypassing the filter, so look for that. 5 stars for the filter and it's very easy to make. 0 stars for an Acura that doesn't have a manual showing how to replace it (it just tells you to go to the dealer who asks $75 for the replacement).
