This is the weirdest hardware design I've ever owned. Now here's the drill for turning this thing on.1. Remove the belt clip on the temperature sensor2. Remove the battery covers on both devices.3. Turn on both devices.4. Turn both blocks upside down.5. Use a curved paper clip (I'm not making this up) to press the tiny reset buttons located under the battery compartment on each device.6. Replace the battery caps on each device7. Wait for the devices to sync.8. Replace the belt clip on the temperature monitor. OK, I'll admit I just couldn't believe this device was supposed to work like this (why not add finger-sized reset buttons to the outside of the device, or maybe build a reset function into the "on" buttons?), so I did called Oregon Scientific and they confirmed it should work as I listed above. So if you're going to buy this thing, have a bent paper clip ready for the temperature control unit. when turned on. Pretty strange if you ask me as it didn't originally exist. Another update: now it doesn't sync no matter what I do. Bullshit, it's coming back.
