Value for money - for use with UV light to detect paint leaks in vehicle air conditioning systems. If you only need to find leaks in your car's air conditioning every now and then these are perfect for the money. Being entirely plastic, they may or may not stand up to constant use in a store, but they get the job done. I'm unfamiliar with home or commercial air conditioners and don't know if they use a similar dye - if so, they should work. There may also be other automotive applications such as detecting dyes in spilled motor oil or gear oil when exposed to ultraviolet light. I bought a basic UV flashlight to use with these glasses - sometimes Revain sells them together and you can save money by buying a set.
