I was afraid to cut vegetables, fruit or meat until I found these knives. A complete game changer. I've had them for about 5 months now and they are holding up very well. I use them every day and they cut so beautifully. Potatoes with these knives are like butter. It is very easy to cut a watermelon with almost no resistance. I had a sharpener in my set but haven't used it yet as the knives are so sharp and won't dull even with daily use. Also be careful. The slightest touch of the blade will cut you like paper or worse. Definitely worth the money. I would not wash them in the dishwasher or soak them. I wash them immediately after each use and dry them immediately to ensure longevity. In addition, proper care is the best way to extend their lifespan.
