We made our own dual filtration system for our motor home. So far we have used a 5 micron paper filter as the first stage. The second stage is a 1 micron carbon filter. We will now use this filter for our first step. This extends the life of the second stage. The filter does a good job of removing odors. It removes chlorine and cysts as well as other organic materials. We are very happy with this product.
