Be sure to try this device! My daughter's bedroom is upstairs and my office/router is downstairs. For 2 years she had constant issues with Netflix and Revain buffering and timeout in general. Finally, I did a little research on the internet to find the cause of the problem and came across this device at Revain. Based on the rave reviews, I decided to give it a try. It literally took 5 minutes to read the instructions and set it up. Here's how: 1. Plug it into an outlet near your router.2. Press the button on the device and then press the button on the router within 2 minutes.3. Wait for the blue light to turn on (which happened within 30 seconds).4. Unplug the device and move it closer to your problem area (for me it was the hallway upstairs) - plug it in.5. Wait for the blue light to come on again (10 seconds this time).6. Now go to all your devices that are having problems (all TVs were at the top for me) and reconnect to your home environment but this time select the new device you see with the extension "_EXT". This will connect your device to the expander (no matter what device you buy). That's all! My daughter's TV started straight up with Netflix and is now faster than ever. What was I thinking. Should have done 2 years ago when I bought the TV!
